How We Started...
The proprietor of Pristine Interiors, Edward Dai, has been in the renovation field for over eighteen years. He is a third generation craftsman specializing in fine finish work. Upon starting his business he worked primarily in historic Brooklyn Heights, New York. There he developed a niche market for preserving and renovating the interiors of homes well over 100 years old.
Looking for new challenges, Mr. Dai relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada for five years. Enhancing his skills in the decorative arts, he opened Pristine Painting & Custom Finishes. Due to the explosion of faux finishes in this market, Mr. Dai chose to specialize in the plaster finishes. From Venetian plasters to Italian Marmarino and Tuscany styles, these designs were incorporated into a growing portfolio of artistic expressions. Mr. Dai has created dramatic "looks" in both residential and commercial settings.
Mr. Dai has taught faux finishing seminars for Sherwin Williams stores in Las Vegas. He also has a degree in Construction Management from New York University. Today he primarily resides in New York while continuing to work in both markets. Mr. Dai enjoys the challenges of each project, while at the same time striving to create a unique and lasting environment for each client.
